  The Civil Process Division is made up of  Process Clerk Wendi Callenius and Process Server Marvin Weiss as well as part-time employees Patti Edwards, and Art Updike.  Process servers handle the routine civil process to include County and District Court subpoenas, summons and orders as well as papers from the courts of other jurisdictions.

  Divorce papers and Protection Orders are assigned to Deputy Sheriff's on a rotation basis. Writs of assistance and writs of replevin are the responsibility of the Chief Deputy Sheriff.

  Statistics: July 2009 paper service totaled 523 papers or an increase of 28  papers over the previous month 5.65%)  By comparison, 495 papers were received during July 2008 showing a increase of 28 papers or 5.65 %.

  Five year average (2004 thru 2008) = 625 papers per month.  (July 2009 is  102 papers below average.) Ten year average (1999 thru 2008) = 544 papers per month. (July 2009 is 21 papers below average.)

  July 2009 "success rate" on paper service (440 out of  523= 83%) Average for the past six months = 81%
