The mission of the University of Nebraska Cooperative Extension Service is to help Nebraskans apply timely, research-based knowledge to their daily lives.
In Cooperative Extension:
- We are committed to improving the productivity and quality of the lives of Nebraskans.
- We do this by providing educational programming.
- We address and focus on selected priority needs and issues.
- We develop programs available to a diverse statewide clientele-agricultural enterprises, families, youths, businessesand communities - as well as national and international audiences.
- We use a partnership of federal, state, local and private resources, i.e., technologies, information, money and people.
- We offer all those audiences opportunities to understand and adapt to technical, economic and social change.
