All Letters to adult detainees should be addressed as follows:

Mail will be sent out Monday - Friday, excluding Holidays and Weekends.

Visits

Detainees are allowed (4) four 30-minute visits per week, 2-hours total. Only persons on the inmate's approved visitor list are permitted to visit. Visitors are required to complete a Visitation Approval Form   (You may fax, mail or bring in your application). Applicants are subject to a criminal background check. Visitors will be asked for a valid photo I.D. to be photocopied to accompany visiting form.

Tuesday - Friday
Morning Session: 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Afternoon Session: 12:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Evening Session: 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Saturday
Morning Session: 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Afternoon Session: 12:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Holidays - To Be Announced

Visitors MUST arrive 10 minutes before the end time of each session to get a full 30 minute visit.

Please be advised that unforeseen security problems may interfere with visiting causing delayed suspended or cancelled visits. This is unusual, but it does occasionally occur.

Commissary

Money can be put on inmate accounts from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday excluding Weekends and Holidays. Money must be in the form of cash or money order only. Personal checks or third party checks, etc. will NOT be accepted.

Money can be sent to detainees through the U.S Mail by sending a money order. Please do not send "CASH" in the mail.

Legacy Inmate Communications provides telecommunication services to the Scotts Bluff County Detention Center. Legacy Phone System Website.

  • Detainees are allowed out-going calls between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
  • Family Members and Friends must set up a prepaid account through Legacy for detainee phone calls.
