Job openings are listed here on the County website, on a bulletin board outside the Personnel Office, and are handed out to each County Department.  Additionally "help wanted" signs are posted outside of the department with the job current job opening.  Openings are also advertised at least once, in the designated County newspaper.  Currently that newspaper is the "Star-Herald".

Where can I get a County application?
Applications are available in the Personnel Office. If requested, they can be mailed or faxed to the applicant. The application is also available above for downloading.

What information do I need to provide in order to be considered for employment?
The applicant needs to give the Personnel Office a completed, hand signed application, a cover letter listing qualifications and requesting to be considered for the opening, plus an up-to-date resume.  This information may be mailed or dropped off, faxes and e-mails will not be accepted.

What and when will I hear back about my application?
