Probation: Intensive Supervision
In Addition to Traditional Probation, Intensive Supervision Probation is available to the Courts. The function of Intensive Supervision Probation is to offer intermediate sanction for selected offenders. These offenders may be safely supervised in the community as an alternative to incarceration but are too high risk for traditional probation. If eligible, offenders may be ordered to participate in and successfully complete Work Ethic Camp at McCook, Nebraska, which offers a highly structured, individualized program for these select offenders.
Intensive Supervision Probation employs four probation officers and one support staff member. Intensive Supervision Probation serves both the District and County Courts of District #10 Probation and District #1 Probation located in the Northwest Panhandle.
