District #10 Probation
The Mission of the Nebraska State Probation System is to provide investigations to the Court, enhance community safety, promote accountability, and provide services through risk-reducing supervision strategies.
TRADITIONAL PROBATION
Staff are Nebraska State Employees under the Judicial Branch of Government. State government provides the salaries and benefits to the personnel working in this department. The Counties are obligated by statute to provide adequate space, and supplies to operate this district. District #10 Probation services the District and County Courts for the following counties: Scotts Bluff, Banner, Kimball, Cheyenne, Morrill, Garden, and Deuel Counties. The main office is located in Gering, Nebraska, County Seat for Scotts Bluff County. Satellite Offices are located in Kimball, Sidney, and Bridgeport, Nebraska. The District serves both juvenile and adult offenders. The Gering Office employs eight officers, one probation tracker and five support staff. The satellite office in Sidney employs two officers and one support staff member.
