West Nebraska Juvenile Services

West Nebraska Juvenile Services, a Detention Facility, will provide safe, secure and attentive community based detention services to youth generally under 18 years of age accused of conduct subject to the jurisdiction of the court and who require a restricted environment while pending legal action.

West Nebraska Juvenile Services insures a complete separation between juvenile and adult incarceration while keeping juvenile offenders as near as possible to their home. As a co-residential facility, we will foster rehabilitation through a behavior modification program, an educational component and relationship building between staff and resident youths.

We will continuously strive to make a difference in the lives of those we serve. Recognizing that the security of youths in a non-threatening environment and the safety of the community are paramount.
